1. Is the Zinc Stick safe to use during pregnancy?

This product does not contain any known ingredients that are contraindicated in pregnancy (e.g., retinoids, high-dose salicylic acid, hydroquinone, etc.). It consists mostly of natural oils, waxes, mineral pigments, and antioxidants, all of which are generally well-tolerated during pregnancy.

If you have sensitive or allergy-prone skin, or a history of reactions to essential oils or pigments, a patch test is always a good idea.

2. Is Zinc Stick suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, this product is generally well-suited for sensitive skin thanks to its calming plant oils, barrier-supportive ingredients, and mineral actives. If your skin is highly reactive or allergy-prone, it’s still wise to patch test first.

3. Can Zinc Stick be used as a standalone sunscreen or should it be layered with other products?

This product is classified as a cosmetic and is not registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) as a sunscreen. It does not provide SPF-rated sun protection and is not intended to prevent sunburn or sun damage. For extended exposure, we recommend using a TGA-approved sunscreen and following sun-safe practices (Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide).

4. Is this product GMO-free or non-GMO?

Yes, our products are GMO-free! Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are primarily associated with food and agricultural products. You might prefer to steer clear of genetically modified organisms, we know the skin can absorb at least part of the ingredients applied to it, it makes sense to avoid these ingredients in our skin care, as well.

5. Is this product cruelty-free?
